Integrative Health

Carol Woods provides a comprehensive and coordinated range of health and support services that reflect the community's exceptional commitment to supporting the well-being of all residents. The Carol Woods healthcare program is unmatched in this region.

One of the keystones of Carol Woods' excellent reputation is our emphasis on prevention and health promotion. Carol Woods supports each individual's sense of purpose and life satisfaction, offering a full spectrum of services and resources. Residents determine what brings them a full sense of well-being in body, mind and spirit and take advantage of services and the myriad activities found on campus.

Unlike other retirement communities, Carol Woods does not have a separate memory care unit. Instead, Carol Woods elects to integrate those living with cognitive changes throughout our campus. We embrace a restraint-free environment, which includes not using chemical or physical methods of restraint. This practice emphasizes dignity and self-determination, and helps each resident maintain connections to the community.

Our full-service primary care clinic is staffed by board-certified geriatricians, two gerontological nurse practitioners and a team of nurses.

Higher Levels of Support

Carol Woods is known for innovative quality care where the focus is on supporting resident autonomy and maximizing quality of life.

Short-term Rehab

Carol Woods is often able to offer short-term rehabilitation and respite care stays to members of the greater community.

An array of traditional and complementary therapies are offered on campus.
