Longevity is a testament to the strength and dedication of the workforce to the community. The average length of staff service at Carol Woods is an outstanding nine years, and 12 percent of employees have been at Carol Woods for 20 years or more.

Staff are strongly encouraged and supported as they pursue professional development during their time with the organization. A strong history of internal promotion has allowed staff to remain at Carol Woods as they advance in their pursuit of career goals and their understanding of the field of aging.

Relationships are especially strengthened in the higher levels of support, as a high staff-resident ratio within a clustered living design affords opportunities for greater person-centered support. Additionally, the intentional design of the entire campus layout supports relationship building by merging administrative offices and meeting spaces with residential and common spaces.
