There are 152 cottages along Harkness Circle that are within easy walking distance of the community commons. Harkness loops around the Carol Woods campus and is a one-mile route that is perfect for walking, running, bicycling, and enjoying the beauty of Carol Woods’ 120-acre wooded campus. Cottages are offered in a variety of one and two bedroom floor plans, some with dens and Carolina Rooms.



Apartments are nestled in three two and three-story buildings in the center of our campus.



The central apartments are designed for maximum convenience. Each apartment building is connected to the central campus buildings by enclosed, carpeted walkways. The walkways provide easier access to mail, dining, and activities, especially in inclement weather. Many residents exercise by walking the inside corridors.
